Who are we?

Valérie Leprince - Founder

PLEIAQ's founder, Valérie Leprince has a PhD and an engineering degree from ENTPE. From 2009 to 2012, after completing her PhD at ENTPE, she has been working for the French ministry of construction at CEREMA.

At CEREMA centre-Est, Valerie Leprince has been working as project manager on airtightness and low-energy building. Between 2009 and 2012, she has been:

  • Managing the research project PREBAT MININFIL founded by Ademe and French Ministry for Ecology;

  • Co-developing and running national working-groups on airtightness for the French Ministry for construction;

  • Performing research work on the impact of airtightness of building and ductwork on building energy use and state of art on airtightness levels in France;

  • Developing tools to study energy use of low energy building in the “PREBAT demonstrateur” context (founded by Ademe and French Ministry for construction);

  • Participating to standardisation committees (P83B, ISO/TC 163);

  • Participating to working group on ventilation for the implementation of the French thermal regulation (RT2012).

She has founded PLEIAQ in 2012 and was the managing director until 2022.
